Hello my little ones,
Sorry I haven't written in a while. I hope you're doing well settling into your new house and making new friends.
We've been really busy getting our wood pile done and ready for winter as well as other things around the house. Work has been very busy as well with the Rankin show that just came in and now all the Christmas stuff that is being booked. Thankfully I have 3 weeks off at Christmas so it's not long now before I can take a break!
We've decided to come to Toronto for Christmas this year, we're gonna drive out so we can take Danika and of course make a few stops along the way as usual, Gananoque and Bellville to see friends of ours. It's been over a year and a half since I've been back although Angela goes back twice a year. It's going to be great to see the Lanctot and Haynes clan and of course all my friends again, should be a fun reunion! We haven't even met River your little cousin yet so it will be extra special this year.
Great Grandma's Christmas extravaganza is at Aunt Karen's this year so it will be much easier than driving back and forth to Cobourg. It's so sad you kids don't get to spend Christmas with my side of the family... actually it's sick, to be denied this huge family that all love you so much!!! All your cousins will be there not to mention seeing Great Grandma. She's an amazing woman!
More snow! It won't stop now until March maybe April. Well kids I'm not sure where you're at or what's going on in your lives right now since Grandma doesn't even know how to contact you anymore, but I hope you are happy and that you have found good friends where ever you are.
Good friends will get you through anything in life and I've been lucky to have some of the best in my life to get me through the hard parts. The people we have met out here are like family to me now and of course there are my brothers from back home too, not to mention my best friend and wife Angela. She misses you a lot too! We all do... every day!
I love you,
