Hi Zach and Sophie,
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend with lots of good food and surrounded by love
and laughter. Angela made us a big turkey dinner with all the fixings including my favourite, homemade apple pie for me and pumpkin pie for her. This year we have a guest staying with us for one week so it was good
We have a lot to be thankful for and I consider myself pretty lucky with all that we have accomplished in
the last 3 years. There is still so much to do but we are starting to really see how all of the hard work is paying off. I wish you could be here to share it with us and know that you are happy and being treated well.
I recently found out that you haven't been in Kingston and that your mom is having a hard time making the
transition to her new job since you can't seem to sell or rent the house in Waterdown. I hope you aren't feeling stressed by the move in the middle of a school year, I know how that can be really hard for a kid.
I'm so sorry kids, this is not what I wanted for you, bouncing around from school to school and living in a house that's too small for your growing needs. Your mom should have kept the Burlington house, she would have been miles ahead financially and you kids would have kept your big bedrooms and enjoy lots of room to play and have a place that truly is home, not to mention not having to make new friends all the time and missing your old friends.
I want you to know that I love you and am so thankful to have you even if I can't see or talk to you right now.
You are in this world and I know that one day we will have a relationship again and knowing that makes me thankful for at least having that.
Hope your holiday was great!
Know that I adore you and think of you always.
